Sex Workers Are Sacred (2022) honors the six Asian women in the US who lost their lives in the Atlanta Spa Shootings on March 16, 2021.

Sex work — different from sex trafficking — is a criminalized industry, leading to extremely unsafe conditions and a lack of protection for workers. And yet in the face of adversity, sex workers are creative and brilliant. They practice community care; sex education; safety & consent; polyamory; trans, queer, disabled, and decarceral feminisms; art; and business models.

Sex workers are sacred.
Asian sex workers are sacred.
Nothing less.

Sex Workers Are Sacred appeared on the cover of Whet Magazine, no. 6 (2023).
