I worked with the Minneapolis Institute of Art to develop Arts of Asia (2020), a free online curriculum teaching about the arts, culture, and history of Asia and Asian American artists in the Twin Cities. This curriculum is intended for K-12 learners and educators; it features lesson plans, activities, and videos.

I worked on Arts of Asia from 2019-2020 as the Community Engagement Liaison. In this role, I worked closely with the Mia team to:

  • Write curriculum teaching the critical history of Asian art and encouraging self-exploration using Mia’s Asian art collection.
  • Produce a series of videos profiling Asian American artists and showcasing their work using the museum as a stage.
  • Facilitate curriculum input and feedback from seven local Asian American artists over a series of three intensive workshops.
